Computer speaker

Computer speakers, or multimedia speakers, are external speakers and are usually equipped with a male-end phono plug for computer sound cards; however, there are some that have female RCA (phono) plug ports, and some people link computer sound cards to nearby stereo systems. There are also USB speakers which gain their power from the 5 volts of a USB port. Computer speakers are usually a simplified stereo system without a radio or other media sources built in.
Typically, the simplest computer speakers come with computers. There are advanced forms of computer speakers that have graphic equalization features (bass, treble, etc.) for dynamic audio flexibility. Some computer speakers have a green LED that is lighted when the speakers are on.
Computer speakers range from a basic pair of speakers to 7.1 surround sound speakers with advanced features. The high-end surround sound speakers give the best sound for computer gaming but are rather expensive. The price ranges from $350.00 for a top of the line set to $4.99 for a set of rather cheap speakers.
